BUILD A PUP
We have puppies that are born and raised here in our puppy programmes that are available exclusively to our clients with various levels of training. Once our puppies come of age we meticulously select subjects from the litter to be trained in obedience and potentially to go onto join our personal and family protection training programmes.
At Protection Dogs International we train each dog specifically to match the individual requirements of each client.
Included in the purchase of a PD International dog you will receive a personalised bespoke training package.
We understand every dog owner has different requirements and we tailor the training accordingly to your particular needs, home environment, daily routine and potential security threats.
All of that is taken into account and incorporated into the training and environmental socialisation of the dog.
We have supplied dogs of the highest standard to families around the world and offer a fully private and confidential service from the start all the way to handover.
Our protection dog training programme lasts for a minimum of 12 months.
During this period the dog is trained in high level obedience on and off leash and will undergo heavy environmental socialisation and continual scenario based training.
All emphasis will be on producing a balanced and trusted guardian with an immaculate temperament.
Throughout our intensive trainining programme our dogs are trained to understand a threatening situation and react to the commands of the handler.
Our dogs are trained to protect in real life scenarios not just to bite equipment, this is where the vast majority of companies providing protection dogs fall short. Most are only training dogs in a sports variation where the dog is trained only to bite the training equipment which in the real world is highly unrealistic as of course no attacker or potential burglar would be wearing a bite sleeve.
At Protection dogs International our dogs are trained in real life situations and in various different locations and are always ready to protect on command. Stop on command and return to heal at the side of the handler alert and immediately ready to respond once given the command.

Our dogs are trained to the EXACT specifications of our clients.
- This gives us the opportunity to implement into the training programme extra emphasis on certain scenarios or requests of that individual.
- We have trained dogs to work on boats, helicopters and to run along side off-road vehicles and be comfortable in that situation.
- To be responsive to commands and of course protect the handler if required.
